MADALINA VOICULET –  FOUNDER & YOGA TEACHER

Yoga for me is more than the regular practice on the mat. Yoga happens off the mat, when you interact with your friends, when you drink your coffee, when you are working in a busy and stressful environment. My purpose is to bring awareness to my students through breath and movement and encore them in the present moment. Every practice is a new practice with a new body, new energy, new mind – let the practice unfold, with no expectations but with curiosity.

I discovered yoga in 2013, when I moved to Sweden, but only after my trip to Bali, I fell in love with the practice and I wanted to discover more. I took the teacher training course at UrbanOm in Stockholm. It was such an amazing journey. After that I started teaching at different studios in Stockholm vinyasa flows, yin. In 2020, I took my certification for prenatal yoga. It was such a nice course –  all credits to my amazing teacher Thrishul. Since then, I am teaching prenatal yoga – creating a community and a safe space for woment.

When I am not teaching, I am working as category manager for an international company. I love the mix between teaching yoga and working in a corporation. It keeps me grounded and connected with the world. On top, my purpose is to serve and I am the happiest when I feel that I have contributed to the society in a positive way. This is how the website and the concept Smile and yoga came to life: sharing yoga, meditation, self-inquiring and much more to people.

GEORGIANA BUTA – YOGA TEACHER

I began my career in the insurance industry and I worked my way up being involved in different projects from different areas of the industry for almost 7 years. During this time, I was fortunate to work alongside people who loved their job and from whom I learned many useful and interesting things.

I discovered Yoga 4 years ago and it was a brand-new type of workout for me, because until then, being a very energic and dynamic person, all my daily workouts were Body Combat, Body Pump, Running, etc. Soon, I realized that yoga was actually exactly what I needed in order to create the perfect balance in my workouts and also in my everyday life. I chose to deepen my knowledge in this area and I obtained the 200H Yoga Alliance instructor certification from the Scandinavia Fitness School.

Through yoga, I discovered my goal in this life: to live in a way that’s true to my heart, powerfully, consciously and peacefully. I also discovered that I love to teach and share my knowledge with curious people like me, so that together we can grow this amazing community. My teaching style is playful, but I also love to encourage my students to try new things, make them curious and help them discover more about their practice. I think the secret to longevity, when you are practicing yoga as a lifestyle, is to build a strong foundation of fundamental postures, so you can constantly progress and expand your practice with challenging new shapes.

My motto – Enjoy the present, listen to your inner voice and last, but not least, live in a creative and joyful way. And don’t forget to smile, it’s the best medicine that you can give yourself and to this beautiful world around you.

SANNA RASK –  HOLISTIC HEALTH COACH

I am a certified integrative nutrition coach, I graduated from Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN,NYC) in 2019. I grew up in a very health and spiritual conscious home and I had my big awakening around 2015 where I started to explore different possibilities of living, with personal development and other alternative practices, to find happiness and wellbeing in my own life.

My path lead me to become an holistic health coach, humble space holder, intuitive healer, and I am continuing to grow and evolve every day with curiosity and playfulness. One of my core values is to help promote health and wellbeing to find a balanced and conscious lifestyle within all areas of life. From our everyday choices such as: what we put into our bodies, how we move, what we watch, what we read read, what we say or do, and who we spend our time with and what we consume on a daily basis.

I invite you to compassionately welcome your shadows, to reawaken your authentic, wholesome self and step into your light & souls alignment. I will guide you to take sustainable steps into a healthier lifestyle with empowerment, accountability, and exciting tools that I used in my own transformational journey.

It was in 2017 I opened my eyes for the simple yet powerful practice of gratitude and how much it helped me in life, to flow with life with more easy, overcome difficult life situations and I integrate gratitude in my practice and everything I am doing. I am now also introducing the power of your own breath into my coaching practice.

Stockholm, Sweden is my home base but I work virtually so you can be based anywhere in the world, In the safety of your own home during your sessions together. I will hold space for you to work on your mindset, heal, share and take action towards your dreams and goals.

I truly love guiding people to awaken their own magical and authentic power; to live a life in alignment, true happiness and greater awareness, intention, and connection with yourself.

NINA ELM –  YOGA TEACHER

I first found yoga in my teens and it has since then been more or less present in my life. However, burnout and depression was needed before yoga  took finally center stage in my life. A few years ago, after discovering the benefits of meditation and yoga, I decided to dedicate myself to the practice wholeheartedly. I have since completed three yoga teacher training, and I am accredited in accordance with the Yoga Alliance criteria (RYT 500). I teach different forms of traditional Hatha, Vinyasa flow, Yoga Nidra (Sleep Yoga) and Yin yoga (and a mixture thereof). Since my first yoga teacher training in the Costa Rican jungle in early 2017, I have not only taught and held classes but as well as created yoga projects both here in Sweden and abroad.

In my teaching, I find my inspiration in the philosophy of yin yoga, in the traditional hatha mixed with elements of flowing vinyasa  and as well as in the softer, restorative yoga. The emphasis is on meeting oneself in acceptance and loving kindness, landing in the body, creating harmony and cultivating consciousness and presence. Closest to the heart lies yin yoga, guiding meditation, and to explore the power of pranayama (i.e the breathwork).

ANNA KIRS –  PILATES & BARRE TEACHER

I was first a dancer than anything. I have been studying dance for around 20 years of my life (classical ballet, modern & contemporary dance mostly). So, movement exploration is like second language to me.

In spring of 2019 I graduated from Copenhagen University College, Global Nutrition and Health education and became a health and lifestyle coach. I love everything related to habit change, human psychology and sociology.

Parallel to the uni I took the comprehensive Body Control Pilates teacher training education and became a Pilates teacher. This step was a spontaneous one that even surprised myself. Cause as a dancer you never want to be a teacher, you just want to be on stage. But the method had proven to be very effective in helping me deal with the immense pains I was having due to a back injury, and so it became so much more than just a “method for becoming fit”. I was totally shocked how just 20 minutes of simple but focussed exercises could totally relax me and take my pains away. Later, I found that certain Pilates practices are also greatly used in collaboration with recovery and a supplementary form of training to physical therapy.

My biggest passion and calling lies definitely in maternity and women’s health. My final thesis in Copenhagen was focussed on postpartum recovery and I discovered how neglected area in health field this is. So, now my aim is to really focus most my efforts in working with women through their recovery mindfully with everything that it comes with. So, it all came together for me!

If I’m lucky, I get to work with a person already from pregnancy – it’s such a gift to see them with their baby bumps and then with their little ones in in their arms at the mat. Next step will for sure be postpartum doula education, just for that well-rounded help I could offer during a very vulnerable, yet exciting time for a woman.

I love a variation in my movement and training intentions. Days are different. There are days I need to be soft to myself and then there are days where I simply need to kick some butt, so I like to teach that way as well. From pregnancy, postpartum & foundation to Level 2 and Pilates Barre.
