Finding Happiness – 10 minutes meditation

When searching for happiness, we tend to look outside, away from the discomfort or pain. However, the more we start searching inside, we start to understand the essence of discomfort, pain or suffering no matter if it is physical, emotional or mental. We start to notice that it is not as fixed as we thought it is and that it is not permanent.

As we develop this relationship with discomfort, we start to find a piece of mind, even if it doesn’t shift immediately or even if it doesn’t shift that much.

This is the biggest transformation: finding not a surface layer of happiness but instead finding an underlying sense that gives us ease no matter how the body or mind is feeling at a given moment.
